Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Or has it been a long time since you've picked up the needles? Maybe you're stuck on a project. Join us in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! You'll learn how to cast on, knit and purl, read a pattern, as well as repair mistakes in an easy-going class. It's fun to be part of a creative community. All levels are welcome. You'll need a skein of light-colored Red Heart Worsted Weight yarn and a pair of size needles (size 7 or 8 is best). Other small supplies will be discussed. Get ready to learn how to make all kinds of items suitable for gift-giving. One of Vicky’s favorite patterns is a dead fish hat which she is happy to share. Get ready to laugh with Vicky, she certainly makes knitting fun. Sessions are taught separately, with no prior experience required.
Making and Canning Salsa

Whether you are using your home-grown vegetables or getting them at the local Farmers Market you will learn how to make delicious salsa and can it safely.

Beginner Soap Making

Learn the basics of cold-process soap making! You will make all-natural honey and oatmeal soap, learn the basic process of soap making, and learn how to safely make soap at home. You will leave the class with 2 lbs. of cold process soap, the recipe for the soap you make, and your soap mold. Students should wear long sleeves to class.

Workplace CPR/AED Course

In this training, you will learn the proper techniques for safely administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using an automated external defibrillator (AED) for adults, children, and infants in emergencies. The instructor-led course includes videos and hands-on practice, so please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Upon completion, you will receive a digital certificate valid for two years from First Response Training International. This program is suitable for workplace training and complies with OSHA and ILCOR standard.
