Adult & Pediatric CPR / First Aid / AED - Session 1

This course, which meets OSHA/workplace requirements, will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It teaches students to recognize and care for first aid emergencies such as: burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illness, head, neck, back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. 

Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Saturday Nov. 9th 

Our Schedule (8:30-5:30pm):

Depart Marshwood High School at 8:30 am 

Arrive at the Seaport World Trade Center (Show opens 10am) 

Meet the bus at 1:00pm for the trip to Quincy Market 

(if the weather is wet we will visit Copley Place)

Re-board the bus at 4:00pm for the return trip to South Berwick 

There will be plenty of space to safely store your show purchases. 

As always, we will travel via Custom Coach.

 

$52 includes bus and adult show ticket

$35 for children 14 years and younger 

(call Marshwood Office at 207-384-5703 to purchase child ticket)

$2-3 cash tip fee will be collected on the bus for the bus driver.

This class will cover the basics of backyard composting. You will learn the different types of compost systems, the do’s and don’ts of composting, how to build your pile and keep it active, and the basic science behind it.

Learn organizing strategies to start your downsizing efforts.  Establish your project priorities, learn what supplies you might need, and set realistic time constraints. Leave with an action plan.

Essential Oils for Emotions

Material Fee: $10 (payable to instructor at class) 

Through this interactive class, you will learn about oil purity, how to incorporate oils into your daily routines, and how you can use essential oils in times of need. Participants will be provided with several diffuser recipes and will be making their own personal blend to take home.

Every Picture Tells a Story
