Drone Flying Skills

Hands on flying - starting with opening the box to gaining confidence in flying without losing the drone, shattering a vase of flowers, or frightening the cat.

This is a 3 week, in-person, all ages class, which will be held in the cafe of Marshwood High School. Bring your own drone. 

Beginner Soap Making: Session 1

Learn the basics of cold process soap making! You will make all-natural honey and oatmeal soap, learn the basic process of soap making, and how to safely make soap at home. You will leave class with 2 lbs. of cold process soap, the recipe for the soap you make, and your soap mold.

Students should wear long sleeves to class.

Knitting: Session 1

Always wanted to learn how to knit? Or has it been a long time since you've picked up the needles? Maybe you're stuck on a project. Join us in a relaxed, fun atmosphere! You'll learn how to cast on, knit and purl, read a pattern, as well as repair mistakes in an easy-going class. It's fun to be part of a creative community.

All levels are welcome!

You'll need a skein of light colored Red Heart Worsted Weight yarn and a pair of size needles (size 7 or 8 is best) other small supplies will be discussed. Get ready to learn how to make all kinds of items suitable for gift giving. One of Vicky’s favorite patterns is a dead fish hat which she is happy to share. Get ready to laugh with Vicky, she certainly makes knitting fun.

Artist Quality Pastel Painting for Beginners

This isn’t the pastel you tried once and hated.  Please give yourself the opportunity to experience something so much better!  In this six week workshop, we’ll cover magical materials that will banish your pastel nightmares.  We’ll play with fabulous color!  We’ll talk materials, color-mixing techniques, mark-making, and care of pastel paintings.  And if you have no idea what I mean by those words, then this class is for you too!  Most importantly, we’ll paint, paint, paint! Terrarium Workshop

Bring the outdoors in by learning how to make a terrarium! A terrarium is a miniature garden under glass that is fun to make and easy to grow. Create your garden with plants, moss, gemstones, shells or tiny woodland creatures. Material fee covers all supplies, plants and containers.
