Kripalu Yoga for Every Body

A gently guided yoga class that will encourage you to listen to your inner wisdom as you move through centering, poses and relaxation in a supportive community. This is a great class for beginners and those who have experience with yoga practice.
Please bring water, your yoga mat, any props you might like (yoga strap, blanket, or yoga block) and dress in layers.

Running Form Workshop - Run Strong! Run Healthy!

Join this two-part running form workshop led by Running Coach, Keri-Ann Rugg, to learn proper running form techniques, runner-specific strength & mobility exercises, injury prevention tips, and more! During the sessions Coach Keri-Ann will assist with running form identification, modification, cues, and drills to help you improve efficiency while running. Whether you are just getting started, or have been running for years, this workshop is open to all levels and paces!
Adult & Pediatric CPR/ First Aid/AED

This course, which meets OSHA/ workplace requirements, will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. You will learn to care for first aid emergencies such as: burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illness, head, neck, back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies.
Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Red Cross Certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. This is a blended online/in-person course.
GWRLT Hike Series: Wildflower ID Walk, Orris Falls Conservation Area, South Berwick
with Great Works Regional Land Trust

Wildflower ID walk with naturalist and science teacher, Sue Pike. Visit Orris Falls Conservation Area, located in the Tatnic region of South Berwick and Wells. The diverse habitat features beaver wetlands, the gorge of Orris Falls, the Littlefield Homestead, a large glacial erratic aptly named Balancing Rock, and the Big Bump. Recommended gear: pants, layers on top, either running shoes or hiking boots, and walking or hiking sticks if you’re unsteady on your feet. Bring water and a light snack. Hikes are limited to 25 people.

Beginners Stand Up PaddleBoard Yoga

Bring your Yoga practice outdoors, connect with nature, and try something new! We will review basic paddle techniques and safety instructions prior to anchoring down for a 60-minute relaxing SUP Yoga Class. No Experience is necessary. You must be able to swim. Cheryl is a 500 RYT Yoga Instructor. She is an Occupational Therapist, Nutritionist, Life Coach, Snowboard Instructor, and Owner of a small Kittery Based Business, Tides of Life SUP Yoga. Paddleboard, Anchor, PDF Life Vest, and a Paddle are provided.
The class is limited to 8 participants.
Bring to Class: Arrive in clothing that can get wet and are comfortable to move in.
Class Meets at Cutts Island Trail/Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge at 37 Seapoint Road in Kittery Point, Maine. Parking along the side of the road.
