Beginning Canning - Make Your Own Pickles

Join Paul Dest, Executive Director of the Wells Reserve for an eye-opening hike of the Orris Falls Conservation Area from 10am to 1pm! As informative as this land is unique, the hike will feature discussion of landscape conservation and the role beavers play in developing wetlands. 

All hikes are open to the public and free of charge to GWRLT members. $5 donation per person or $10 donation per family is suggested for non-members. Paid at hike location.

The Basic Principles of Finance

This class begins with a primer on the basic principles of budgeting, bank accounts, and credit card use. If time allows, we will also cover retirement planning, investing surplus funds, and Social Security and Medicare planning issues for those approaching retirement. The needs of the group will direct this course. All attendees will be encouraged to discuss the real-life problems that may be present in their lives and explore ways of resolving those issues.
